JLUR hood vents redirect water?

Planing on getting rid of the hood sound matt, I can use the under hood for mounting things.
Not much space in the engine bay so mounting under the hood becomes an option.
There is 2 to 4in of clearance between the hood and engine parts ect.
What about redirecting the water that comes through the vents?
Or has anyone made these vents true vents, and what about the water?

It’s just water. Your engine and everything in the bay always gets wet whenever it rains. All the connectors are weather tight so I wouldn’t worry about the little bit that comes thru the vents
