JLU 2.0 High Temp Issues

We’ve started to experience our JLU overheating in stop and go traffic. Sometimes when just parked idling as well. Coolant levels are maxed out and color is normal. Fan kicks into high gear. Noticed the heater in the cabin is starting to blow cold, at least not warm, air. And that’s at random times as well.

Any ideas on what to look at without dropping hundreds of dollars with hope it gets fixed? Wondering if temp sensors are going bad or thermostat or maybe I just have air bubbles in the pressurized coolant system.

Thanks

Overheating and a heater blowing cool or cold air is typically a sign that you have air in the system. Could be a blockage of some kind but being that your Jeep is so new, I don't really see that being the case.

Kk thank you! I’ll grab a coolant air bleeder tool and test it out. Shops want to flush the coolant, which I don’t want

Air really shouldn't be able to get in, especially on a newer Jeep. I'm just going off of the symptoms.
Yeah, I’m just curious because I’ve seen that before as I got a code once that indicated I may have air in mine as well and had similar symptoms. Mine though seems to have cleared up on its own.
