So, to put things into perspective, I need to point out that we've been doing 80-85 mph pretty much the whole way out. With that said, we've been averaging about 11.5 mpg but have seen as low as 9 mpg depending on terrain and winds.

That’s not terrible! I bet that 8 speed transmission makes it somewhat better.

For doing 80-85 with 40s, doesn’t sound terrible. I get about 11-13 with my f250 with 35s and that’s not doing 80-85

Lol. Present company excluded. I think you know the type of builds I'm talking about. I consider your build to be a very practical and solid build. Your build is a very different animal than some of the "go for broke" attempts out there. Some of the high dollar builds really fall flat in my opinion because they stepped away from what makes the Gladiator a Gladiator. Your build hasn't gone in that direction (thankfully) and neither did the EVO OG40 build.
