We practiced on the factory trim and then did the final install with a set of new trim. I think it came out nicely though.

Thanks for the compliments. You just need to remember, any time I say "we", I mean the people I hired to implement what I want done. I actually had a high end custom auto stereo shop do this. They are the ones that hacked my factory stereo, added a backup camera to it that I can turn on at any time, etc. I figured if they could fabricate entire dashes, door panels, and sub enclosures, that they could do this for me.

Nice! Just finished installing mine last night. Good product although I do need to tap one bolt hole on the passenger side dash. Had it powder coated to match the Jeep, looks and feels solid!
