Just wanted to share my install video for my upgrade to the R2C CAI with both the Black Hex and Extreme Duty off-road filter. Any questions, let me know.

1. Does the kit come with both filters?
2. Are the filters dry or oil filled?

The system comes with only 1 filter but you have a choice of which filter you want. I had to call R2C and order the Extreme Series filter separate.

Great looking Jeep, engine bay looks good with the Black Hex filter. Did you notice a increase in HP and how does it sound while driving around town. Thanks.

Thanks. Every weekend I take it out and every Sunday it gets cleaned

As for the increase in HP, hard to say. I think so? But that may be more seat of the pants talking as it feels like it has a bit more pep. The only real way to tell is to get it on a Dyno and chart it.

As for the sound, you can definitely tell there is an upgrade under the hood. You do get a low rumbling during acceleration and at highway speeds there is no "droning" sound. Definitely a positive in that department.

I am very happy with the upgrade and having the ability to swap out filters when I need to is a win in my book.

Flec, the only real way for me to tell is to get it on the Dyno and see. Like I mentioned in my response above, it feels like there is a bit more pep in the peddle, however to know for sure I would have to get it on the rack. I know I now get better MPG on the highway then I did with my factory box, so that it itself will pay for the upgrade. If I do get any real increase in power, I'll consider it a bonus!
