Jeep wave from a FNG here in SoCal

Hello all! My name is Dave and I'm from Orange County California. Just bought me my first Jeep last month. I"m completely brand new in the Jeep world so please excuse any noob questions I may have. I promise I will search for an answer first before posting anything. I came from a GM background. Had a 5.3 GM motor the last 10 years on 2 separate vehicles and both did me wrong. My 1st 5.3 was in a Yukon XL and the head cracked on me at 70k. My 2nd 5.3 was in a Sierra and at 40k on the clock it started burning oil. Lesson learned and now I have a Jeep =). However I had the 5.7 motors before and they were bullet proof. Anyways the best thing about this Jeep is it does't feel like I''m swinging an air craft carrier around when I try to make a u-turn. And of course many other things which you guys already know. And thanks to JAGS for introducing me to this site (promise I will not embarrass you)and will soak up as much info as I can to better myself with my Jeep.

I came into the dealer one day in this:

I thought I bought this:

But next morning it was a darker silver which I'm not complaining:

Thanks guys! I"m really excited to be here.
And for my 1st noob question. Can you direct me to where I can find the forum rules.

Hey Dave. Welcome to WAL and glad you decided to join up. 👍

Pay no attention to that Overlander guy. 😉 Lol. Kidding. We're a good group here.

Hey Jason!

Hope all have been well. Thanks for introducing me to this forum. Love the DIY\mod pages. And thank you again for the Rubi Rails. They were so easy to put on.

You bet! Lots of knowledgable people here willing to help. I'm sure we'll be seeing eachother at some Wayalife events/trail runs. 👍 You got my cell too.

And glad you got the rails. You had those things installed within the hour after purchase. Lol. Now your ready to hit some rocks.
