Jeep lift/ tires

So i am a brand new 2017 JKU owner. I traded in my 2010 jeep wrangler 2 door that was lifted and had aftermarket tires i bought it that way so i never really had to do much woth it so this whole process is new to me. I want to slap on a lift and some 33 or 35s but im torn between the two also not sure weather to go with a 2.5 lift or 3.0 lift been doing research but atill all kind of foreign to me please give me some ideas of wht you all have if you have before and after pocs that would be awesome

33's look puny on a JKU, although they look pretty good on a 2 door. I vote 35's. I currently run an EVO leveling kit and 35's. I plan on a 3" EVO Enforcer, later.

In this picture I had 35s with a 3.5" lift. I went 3.5" just in case I went 37s later which I did.
Here is a 2016 with a 2.5" lift with same wheels and tires.

this might sound dumb but what type of gas mileage do you get with that and did you have to do anything else to your jeep only ask because im an E-3 and I dont make that much after bills and crap come out so just trying to get an idea of how much ill be spending
