Jeep Hammock

Not trying to pimp this thing. Just found some old pictures of it so I thought I would throw them up here to see if anyone wanted to pursue making one for themselves.

This one is a hammock I made while I was in the Navy that I hung in my space for some shut-eye on those crazy long days. Don't have to go anywhere, just jump up in the hammock for a couple hours, get up and do it all over again. It just so happened to be the perfect size to rig up inside the Jeep!

I have made a few of them out of paracord for buddies as well.

They pack up as light as possible and I know I sleep pretty well in the thing.

I'll see if I can find some pictures of the paracord ones. It's a tedious process of basically just tying a whole bunch of knots. I'll make a tutorial of the knot that you want to use.

Don't get me wrong, paracord is cool, but why use 5 miles of paracord for something that can be made out of 50 feet of tube webbing.

Thanks bro.

Yeah, I don't know, you'd have to get pretty crafty to get one to work and still be comfortable in a 2 door.

This is very true. I think I used like 150 feet of paracord. Another issue is the paracord stretches quite a bit, which makes it pretty darn comfy, but it has to be SUPER taut in order for your butt not to hit the floor so it's a pain to get in and out of with the top on... and if you have the top off you might as well just hang it outside.

I've seen some enos work in the 4doors but i don't think it would work as well in my 2door. When i get my eno i'll try it and see if it'll work but highly doubt it will

I've used my ENO in my 4 door and it is fairly comfortable. I like on the one picture in by the OP that you sleep straight. To get my ENO to work I have to put it at an angle from roll cage corner to corner.
