Jeep Down

So took my jeep with the family yesterday out on some easy gravel roads. About 3 miles in the engine light and ESC light came on; however everything was functioning normally. At the end of the day there was a small hill on the main highway near where I live and all of a sudden the ESC light went off and came back on and the jeep lost all power. I was pedal to the floor crawling about 15mph. At that point I knew something was definitely wrong so got the code checked and it says its a bad camshaft sensor. Anyone else experienced this with a new jeep. It's a 2012 jeep rubicon with 13,000 miles. Going in for warranty work today.

Probably the cam position sensor. Here's a link that might give some helpful info. All the best.:yup:

Thanks for the link. Hopefully it gets fixed quickly. Called a few different dealers, none of them knew why it would have gone out on a new vehicle. Guess I just got the luck of the draw on a bad part (or so I'm hoping that's all there is to it)
