Jeep crashes into power pole, driver badly hurt

Caught the Bug
A friend of mine from Portland sent this to me.

FOREST GROVE, OR (KPTV) -
A driver was rushed to the hospital after crashing into a power pole in Forest Grove early Monday morning.

It happened at 1:20 a.m. on Southwest Old Highway 47 near Southwest Etters Road.

Emergency crews arrived to find a Jeep sitting vertically against a power pole. Firefighters got the driver out of the vehicle.

The driver was taken to the trauma center at Oregon Health & Science University with serious injuries.

I bet he couldn't do that again if he tried. Crazy how it landed like that, especially since it look like it rolled before too.

That TJ looks like it took some other damage on the way to the pole.

Dang. This is why I want a weld in cage with frame tie-ins!

Definitely looks like the Jeep ended up on a power pole after hitting and or rolling on a lot of other stuff first.

hopefully he lives to jeep another day. we all need to drive carefully. cant be in a rush all of the time. slow down and enjoy the scenery:twocents:
