Jalopnik's 10 Most Useful Vehicles Ever Made - What do You Think?

yea i dont think that the toyota or the pontiac should be on the list at all. if anything should be #1 it should be the Model T.

Personally, I would have thought that the Toyota HiLux would have made it to the list...

Way more useful to more people around the world than some of the pics they had.

Agreed, I have been to alot of crap hole 3rd world countries and have seen the HiLux in every one of them. These things are super reliable, versatile and very capable.
On another note, Im suprised no Wrangler. Its predasessor changed the way 4x4 vehicles were made forever (and helped win a war!), and while the looks remain (relatively) unchanged, the advancements in comfort and capability make it one of the best off road vehicles anywhere. Im also suprised to not see Land Rover Defender on there. Still used for everything from Military to farming to exploration, recreation, the list goes on. But hey, what do I know, Ive never owned one of those awesome Aztecs!

They said it best on American Dad when Stan bought an Aztec, "it's a tent on wheels!". That's about all it is, so I don't know why it would be on there. My pick would be a Dodge Ram 2500/3500 MegaCab Cummins 4x4, more power than you need and plenty of room for storage and passengers.
