I've missed the wave!

Long time Jeep guy, 1989 YJ as my first car, then moved on to a TJ built on 35's, wheeled the body off of it, and then had a few XJ's over the years, but never really felt like I had found the "one" until now.

2006 Jeep LJ, non-Rubicon, but the previous owner had a G2 Core Dana 44, with 5.38 gears, Eaton E-Lockers, and Chromoly Shafts installed with a Big Brake Kit in preparation for 35's. He lost interest in finishing the Jeep, so I scored a great deal on it.

I've been a Wayalife subscriber for years, love the content and always wanted to wheel with this crew one day. Maybe next year will be that year, until then, wave if you see me in Eastern Washington State.

Thank you everyone, it's so good to be back in a Jeep again. Over the past week I did figure out the wheels were Plastidipped black, and looked terrible so I've cleaned them up some and now they shine like they should.

How did you get all of the Plasti-dip off of the wheels?

Spray them down with WD-40, let sit for about 20 mins and then my 2,400 PSI electric pressure washer with the 15 degree spray took it off in about 20-30 mins per wheel. I took a whole afternoon to do all 5 wheels. I still need to take a brush to them to get the tight edges where the plastidip didn't want to come off. I used a whole can of WD-40 for all 5 wheels.
