iPad mini ram mount set up

I posted a pic of the setup in another thread and a couple of members have inquired about it so I decided to create a thread. I attached the Ram B 238 diamond base to the dash. It has a 1 in ball on it. I had to put a backing plate behind the dash where it attaches to make it stouter. Went off road today to test and it was solid

Ram makes some the best mounts ever...had a laptop mount in my ride for work for close to eight years, never budged an inch
