In The Shop - Disciple Off Road

I thought this at first too BUT, think it’s because of the passenger side mount being part of the FAD so, being a 3-link it makes more sense for sure for strength. The kit also replaces the oem rubber bushing on the axle with a Rockjock joint.
what are your thoughts on the Rock Jock joint replacement, I thought about it as I was fighting to get the OEM out

After several issues/setbacks, this JT is done. Came out really nice and actually drives really nice. 4.5” on the JT is definitely the sweet spot in my opinion.

Specs:
RPM 4.5” JT Hybrid 3-Link Long Arm Kit
FOX 2.5” remote resi shocks
Walker Evans beadlocks
37” Mud Hog tires (🤷🏼‍♂️)

Wrapping up @NCAJeep with some minor details and armor/drivelines. Really excited to drive it and see it out on the trail.

Very nice! Looks great. 👍🏻

Unfortunately after further inspection, this D35 housing is toast. You can see where the carrier bearing had been spinning for quite some time and chewed away at the housing material. You can see how much by the raised edge on the housing and bearing cap. Even if torqued to spec, the bearing race will just spin and be back to square one.

Based on the customers budget and time frame, the logical option was to just get a new replacement housing from Mopar, especially since we already have all the internals here ready to go.

I thought Dana 35s were indestructible.
