In The Shop - Disciple Off Road

Holy crap, this new found obsession with "tire weight" is insane. I've had 3 people this week bring up the fact they purchased certain tires because they "weighed less" and were afraid it was going to be too much "extra stress" on the axle or they would "feel the difference". I just find it crazy because I have never once given it a thought, These same people are also slapping heavy roof top tents and everything else they can fit.....but I guess that's ok haha

Just let so air out of the tire and it will weigh less. They can still buy the heavy tire but just run at 12psi instead of 38 and they will be good.

The tire weight thing is absolutely insanely stupid. It’s literally on another level gay and totally a product of people spending way too much time reading the nonsense posted on social media.

Less weight means more ducks can fit in the jeep 👍
 
Alright guys/gals so consensus is in; I need 3 rows of ducks on dash at all times and bare minimum of 6” of lift with 37X13.50r22 for the curb at my local Starbucks, or 38X15.50R24 if I want to park on the curb at my local Starbucks and Costco or Sam’s club also need to run 3” wheel spacers to get that super aggressive stance. Sorry to let yall down as I only have 35X12.50R17s with 3.5” of lift
