How do You Feel About AI (artificial intelligence)?

So I’ve been playing around with Chat 5.2 and also paying a lot closer attention to capabilities, business uses, and how and where it is actually being used in a variety of businesses now.

Honestly, the leap that 5.2 has made is exponential. I’m really starting to think that within five years there will be no entry level office jobs staffed by people. In my line of work, I’d say 5.2 is better than most 3-4 year lawyers.

It's funny how in the past, the threat of AI was that it'd replace blue collar jobs. In reality, it's nothing short of mind blowing how effective AI is at doing a shit ton of white collar jobs. I see a lot of people loosing there's and very soon.

Even current AIs are infinitely more "powerfull" then most of us even know. The bottleneck is access to data and power, and you're using the free version...

which makes the human brain and body as amazing as ever.
IMO, data centers will never be large enough to keep up once it's truly unleashed.

What sucks is that they're trying really really hard to make them big enough and to the detriment of rural communities and open spaces.

That will only be true until we have AI+Robotics.

Humans can still do the bidding of AI. Once robots are totally on-line and directed by AI, then there will be no more need for the humans. We can safely be exterminated.

74 acre farm not far from us sold for $4.2m recently to one of the firms doing these data centers. Thats 10 times what it's worth.
PA's one of the few states with excess electrical generation and the infrastructure that can handle getting it into the grid due to the industrial base thats no longer here. There's all kinds of talk everywhere about these damn data centers
