Homemade JL Rock Sliders

CalSgt I was asking how well JKJasons held up and what he used for material. I made mine a few years ago our of 2x6x.25wall but I think they stick out too far for my next trip to the Rubicon Trail. I got a bunch of 2x2x.25wall and was going to remake them just for the trip because my wife likes the step. also if I had to repowded coat them is way more than just making a new set and rattle can them.
I drilled and tapped the frame so I can change them out pretty easy. The Farm Jack can lift the jeep using the steps

i do like your sliders, but yes. They stick out mad far.

Edit: I guess they don’t stick out that far…narrow fenders just make it look that way.

Don't Know JKJason but I liked his design kind-of-like LOD model.
