lol, years ago my brother and I went to a UFO symposium back in the mid 90's for shits & giggles, but there was one guy there that claimed they had to cement the lower levels of the labs at Montauk closed because they couldn't figure out how to close the portal they opened. Supposedly some big hairy thing killed a couple scientists before they got rid of it. Lol, we laughed it off back then but who knows 🤷‍♂️

Your comments were forwarded to me as Director of NYS Parks in Montauk, including Camp Hero. I'm relatively new to this role and agree that the signs have become faded and are in poor condition. We actually recently began looking into ordering replacements. Thanks for your visitation and expressing your concerns. Camp Hero really is a wonderful park full of history and great trail systems.
