Hi, I’m Ed

I asked you do all three I read was on the dash and I reset the trip on my dashboard can I watch how much it takes to fill? I get a receipt every time I fill it up.
The gas pump should tell you how much fuel went in. If you follow the practice of filling the tank, then it is just a matter of recording the mileage from the odometer and the amount of fuel put in. It is not necessary to use a trip meter.

The fuel economy indication on the dash is useful, but it is not based on actual measurements.

You should be getting better mileage than that. How many miles are on the Gladiator? I presume your past the break in? With those being shorter trips i doubt the engine is fully warming up which I believe is going to cause it to run rich using more fuel. Stop and go commuting always uses more fuel than highway and especially if the engine never fully warms up. Take it on a road trip and see what it does.

In addition to the above, pushing the 'A' button on the dash near the AC controls disables the start/stop system. Start/stop might seem to be to improve fuel economy, but it is more about reducing emissions. If the engine is running all the time, it will warm up better.
