Hey y'all, wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Steve, I'm from Washington state but grew up in PA. I started working on jeeps when I was 13, my parents bought me a 49 cj2a that was in a field for Christmas and it's been a life long addiction ever since. Ive personally owned and built 13 jeeps up until 6 years ago when I decided to opt for a career change. I traded my 06 LJ on tons and 40s for a Cummins and a 5th wheel and hit the road as a traveling electrician. Fast forward 5 years to 2017, we moved to Reno NV to work for Tesla. At that point I beyond excited as I was finally close to Rubicon trail which has been a life long dream to run. I began my search in February of last year for a 4dr jku. That's when I stumbled upon a 2007 R titled 2wd JKU in Tacoma Washington. Was perfect, I knew it was going to get "used" so I wasn't bothered by the r title and the fact that it was 2wd was perfect as it gave me a good excuse to buy new parts... made a phone call and a week later I was driving it back home to Reno. I've been working on ever since and it's nearing completion. I hope to meet a bunch if new people that enjoy wheeling as much as my wife, kids and I do.
