Hey folks, just thought I would stop and say hello. I've been reading the posts here off and on for a while but hadn't really found the time to register until recently.

As to how I came to the world of Jeeps: I traded in a 2012 twin turbo BMW 335i bright red beauty for my Jeep and I haven't looked back and I love every second of driving my Jeep. I keep saying the best view is the view of the world from inside the driver's seat of the rubicon.

My stepdaughter called my BMW the "angry tomato" and after we got the 2013 Rubicon Unlimited, she alternates between calling it "The beast" or the "Angry Green Tomato".

One thing some folks have said is crazy and other folks have said is awesome is that I took my bone stock brand new Rubicon off-roading on a fairly brutal rock crawling road only 6 days after taking possession, it had 300 miles on it and 240 of them were dealer miles getting the Jeep to my location. Here's some pics of the Angry Green Tomato when it was just 6 days old :)

I love the feeling of the Jeep community overall and the folks here are the finest examples of that community anywhere. It's a pleasure to be here.

Welcome!! I am in Groton until December. Where did you go off-roading? Not much down here. CT seems anti-OHV. Glad you are enjoying that Green machine.

Went up to Old Florida Road in MA with a club outing. It was a blast and quickly got me addicted to off-road driving.

Welcome, I too have recently joined the jeep world and am in CT as well, Salem- kind of 35 minutes southeast of Hartford.

Welcome aboard. I did the same thing. Took delivery and went to rausch creek a week later.
Where in CT are you? I'm in Trumbull myself.

I'm up in Windsor. What did you think of Rausch Creek, from the perspective of someone driving a shiny brand new Jeep?
