Hello from Brownsville, CA

Hello from Brownsville, CA - I am Alessandra - Originally born and raised in the East Bay, my Dad was a huge 4x4 enthusiast. He was born in the Hawaii, raised in the Phillippines where he was raised by his Grandmother, and Grandfather on a plantation. As he got older, he helped them to maintain their plantation equipment and learned the art of modifying, and rebuilding Jeepneys. He then joined the merchant marines, and made his journey to the United States where he met my mother who was also born in Hawaii. My Dad was a huge WWII history buff, and loved to collect 4x4 vintage cars. By the time he reached 46, he had over 15 of them awaiting his attention, and restoration. Since then, I have always loved vintage vehicles myself. Recently I purchased a Jeep Rubicon JL, and decided that it was going to be in the forefront of pulling my Booney Stomper teardrop trailer as I love exploring Mother Earth. There is absolutely so much fun in being outdoors - I came across this forum, and was excited to join. I am also now a member of OverlandBound, and here at WayaLife as I am wanting to connect with likeminded people who love exploring the great outdoors. I have 1 veteran son, and 4 grandchildren, married, and living on a small ranch. My husband also restores vintage vehicles mostly porsches, audis, kharmann ghias, and American Muscle Cars. We recently relocated from Sacramento to Brownsville, Ca. We both love to explore although my husband is not at all interested in meeting a bear. We also appreciate the great vastness of this great county, and there is nothing like it - the most abundant and extravagant thing to experience is heading out into the wildernesss, big or small - it's always been a dream come true. Thank you for welcoming us onto this absolutely aswesome forum, much appreciated. We send good vibes, and always know you're the best of the best! #GettingOutdoors
