Head lamp suggestions for new job.

Caught the Bug
I am in the market for a new headlamp. I got a new job finally working in Baxter state park here in Maine, I am going to be a roving back country ranger and will be coin lots of hiking some of which will be at night. I will not have any electricity so if they are rechargeable they need to last a week or so. What do you guys use? I am looking at the petzl tikka myo and the tikka rxp. Both around $100
 
Tikka rxp is awesome. grab yourself a small solar charger like the solar mio or a power pond it would last forever. with the light sensor in the rxp, you use only what power you need.. But,,, I have the black diamond revolt, it can use AAA AND the special USB rechargeable black diamond batteries. The black diamond is also cheaper... Gotta love working retail..
 
I run a SureFire saint minimus. Awesome light. Uses one cr123 battery. Super bright and adjustable for long life. Plus it's a SureFire. Nuff said

My new favorite is the Nitecore HC50. Five levels that are easy to get to and up to 565 lumen on high. Also will handle rechargeable lithium ions so you don't have to buy so many CR123's. Amazon sells packages that include battery and charger if you don't have them. I use mine all the time.

I also have the Black Diamond Revolt. Awesome light and very bright.

As stated, you can load it with rechargeable batteries and charge with included USB cable. Pair this with a Nomad 7 solar panel from Goal Zero and you're all set for every night.
 
Also congrats, that sounds like a great job! I've paddled the Penobscot, and Kennebec river I love Maine in September, amazing colours.
