Great way to start the morning....

If you live on Long Island, you probably know about the suicidal geese on the watagh and ocean parkway. Well on my way to work this morning I hit one going 65. Not to much damage but enough to annoy me... Engine light is now on, and the I think I broke the ambient temp sensor, and cracked the grill on my 2 month old 2013 jkur....ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1366114669.872900.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1366114711.420903.jpg

Yes I know it could of been worse. Luckily My friend works as a mechanic at a jeep dealership near by so I am stoping by after work the get it looked at to make sure nothing else was damaged.....

Yeah that sucks :( Seems like you could superglue that though... Might save some bucks, else I'd check out the wild boar grille :brows:

Hope you won't get anything else damaged.
 
What a bummer but, glad it wasn't anything worse. Good luck on getting everything fixed.
 
wow thats crazy i have never seen/heard of this before! hope everything is iight with your jeep!
 
Getting teased at work.... Well that's understandable scince I work at a animal hospital.....

I hit it going 60... Was still alive but had no chance, put it in a carrier I had in the trunk, we put it to sleep, nothing could be done.....

BOOO Stupid geese, at least it wasn't one of those dumb LI deer leaping out in front of you!
 
Omg the deer out east lately have been nuts...caught a group dashing across the lie near Calverton at 11pm on Saturday.....
