Good deal for 5 wheels & tires?

I know a shop where I can get brand new stock take-offs & I might jump.....
$1200 for 5 brand new rubicon wheels & tires, no tpms
Or
$1500 for 5 hard rocks, tires, no tpms.

I have tpms disabled via my Procal, so whatever. I know the hard rocks are just a paint job but $1500 for 5 tires is still a steal right? I'm stock in a 2010 Sahara, do I need the shocks and springs too?

Are you planning on just staying stock? If you ever plan on going larger tires than your going to need spacers to clear. Only reason Im bringing this up is because im currently running stock rubi wheels with 315's. I personally think you would be much better off getting a combo set of aftermarket wheels and tires for that price and with proper offsets it would save you from having to buy spacers or wheels later on. Only reason Im still running mine is they are functional and Im putting $ other areas besides wheels for now

Hard Rock for extra $300 definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Do you love Rubicon wheels and happy to stay with them for a while? If so, I'd do the Rubicon ones. If not, I'd save the money for some wheels you love.

If you're going to buy tires anyway, may as well take the Rubicon wheels with them. I just wouldn't bite on the deal just because you want the wheels. I think you can find Rubicon wheels for cheaper if you already have tires in good shape you like.

Seeing them for under $1000 in Northern CA. Still even at $1500 not a bad deal on a set of 5 new tires and wheels, but not a killer deal either as you can find 33-35 and even 37 packages used in that range. If your plan is to stay stock I woudl try finding something in the $1000 range.
 
Ive seen sets of 5 with low miles go for way cheaper out here in Vegas, like 6 to 800 range. I have a set of Rubi rims in my storage facility that Id give you a killer deal on if thats what your looking for. No TPMS or tires though so you can put on the tires you want instead of the ones you get :D

I think these are HR rims 1000.00 OBO but in Vegas.

I've had issues with economy wheels in the past that's why I'm leaning towards OEM vs Quadra. Also yeah, I'm staying stock. I have 3 little ones so getting in and out is an issue. I might dig around a bit but I'm feeling like this is a good situation for me. I might have them throw some rubi shocks & springs on too as a nice OEM+ upgrade for my Sahara since these are new-new take offs.

It's kind of a supply and demand thing. A quick search of Craigslist in your area, turned up no results, so $1200 isn't bad, if the tires are new, or nearly new. I wouldn't pay extra for Hardrock wheels, personality.

The take offs look awesome even if you want to go up to 35's. Like Med's rig. The in Searchtempest put in your zip and what you are looking for. It compiles Craigslist listings.
 
I just sold my Rubi wheels & Brand new BFG Rubi tires to a friend for $700. The deals are out there!
