GARDENING Thread

So I haven’t had very good luck this year with the garden. I’ve had voles or moles, mice, rats and, as some of you have seen, squirrels, pretty much eat everything to a nub. They have eaten potatoes, zucchini plants, pepper plants, bean plants, cucumber plants, tomatoes and more. I hope to try to salvage what I can with an electric fence, netting or a motion activated sprinkler.

Some pics of the damage. These are potatoes that were clipped from underground.

The corn plants are surviving so far but I’m sure they will go after the corn when it gets close. I have managed to harvest a few potatoes.

Hopefully I can find some way of deterring all the critters before the summer is over.

Sorry Cindy, that sucks. Hopefully you guys can get the fence and sprinkler to work, or something, that will work better for next year.
