Gap when back seats are folded down

So anyone use something to cover the big gap behind the seats when you fold them forward?

Ive seen ppl cut ply wood to cover the gap cuz their dogs legs have gotten stuck or just fell in the gap..

Yeah I have a piece of 1/8 panel board I use to cover it for the dog so he can have free reign of the area without hurting himself. I also use the freedom tops or pet divider behind the front seats to keep him out of my lap while driving.

I have a 2' x 4' sheet of white plastic peg board sitting in the garage. I just wedge it in place to keep my 105lb dog front injuring herself.
