Front skid plate

I really like the aggressive look of not having a front skid plate, but I also like the protection the skid plate gives. I just flipped my sway bar motor and installed evo no limits. If I was going to remove the skid plate I would cut off the cross member at the frame just behind the bumper mount. What are your thoughts on having a front skid plate or not?

Is this for aesthetic or functional purposes that you want it removed? It looks like you already have a skid for it so why are you looking to remove it?

I bought the jeep with it. I want to take it off for aesthetic purposes. I no longer have the edisco motor, so is there much of a function since I flipped my sway bar motor?
