Front King coilovers and Teraflex big brake kit=big problem!

Hello all!
Is there anyone else who had ran into this problem or am I first? Just installed front EVO bolt on kit with King coilovers and ran into problem with already installed Teraflex big brake kit. When making left and right turns, L tube on brake line is touching coilovers so bad that brake lines are bending/loosening and start leaking even before I can make full turn. This issue is only with Teraflex big brake kit because brake lines are turned 90* on calipers compare to OEM calipers. Don't get me wrong I love Teraflex BBK, just need a better solution for brake lines. Right now I'm looking into customizing brake lines somehow??? Any suggestions will help. I did order brake lines for TJ from crown industries which don't have L shape in them, but I don't know if they will work or not on JK.Will keep you posted.

u tried adjusting steering stoppers so that it'll stop before touching the brake lines?

Aside from ditching the TF Big brake kit or the coil overs, see if running the brake lines from '11-'13 JKs will work. The '07-'10 brake lines have their banjo metal lines at a slight offset (15°) vs the '11s and up where they are 90°s. maybe that difference could give you the needed clearance :thinking:

Other than that maybe using a brake line bending tool can allow you to position the line to give you the clearance...

It starts touching brake lines 3/8" before stoppers, so unfortunately adjusting stoppers is not an option. Thanks anyway.

I need to get lines completely w/o L in them. These will not work either. I did try bending tool and it didn't help. Thank you.

I have the same setup. All you have to do is adjust your steering stop. There is a write up on the forum that WOL did. You'll be good to go then

I do not want to lose any turning radius, so adjusting steering stop is no go for me, but I'll look for some company in my area who may built custom brake lines like OverlanderJK suggested. Thanks.
