I thought there was a recall on these and they told the owners to NOT charge them until they were fixed. Unless the fix didn’t fix anything. BTW the article says the burned up Jeep caused around 275K dollars damage because it torched the cars around it and the charging station as well I presume. Thats a pretty major aww shit.
A recall implies that there is a solution. But almost all batteries are made in China. With a sole source it is difficult to provide an alternate solution.
Uhhhhh not really. A recall states there’s a problem. Usually safety but sometimes something else. When they recalled the tecata airbags there was no solution other than to tell people not to drive their vehicles. The 4xe solution was to not charge the battery
Obviously, I’m a fan of Jeep but can’t stand the current leadership. They literally couldn’t give two shits about their base and are just focused on stupid shit. It’s almost like they’ve been trying to get rid of guys like me.
