I am looking at upgrading shocks. I currently run 12” travel rear and 11.75” travel fronts (due to my Adams driveline will touch the exhaust) on my 2013 JKU. Trying to figure out how to squeeze 12” up front. Running 37” Nittos.

What shock packages are you guys running.

Are you running the exhaust spacer? Probably yes right? Are you looking for a better quality ride or droop? King shocks with adjustable selector is a great, but pricey solution. It also depends on the type of use that you intend to do with your rig. Great pic BTW

I am not running the exhaust spacers at the moment. I was looking at putting on the ARTEC full under skid system but was not sure it would clear the exhaust if it had spacers. I do Rubicon Trail type wheeling.

I have the spacer and skid plates. Not rubbing. Rock crawling, if you the budget King’s. You can soften it to absorb the rocks and allow maximum articulation. This is my opinion of course.

What length front shock travel do you have? At 11.75” full droop puts my driveline the thickness of a piece of paper away of the exhaust.

Yes the 3-5" versions.

These are the numbers for the OEM spec shocks, not the EVO valved ones, but I'm assuming the lengths didn't change.
25001-223A Jeep JK 2007-2018 3"-5" Lift Adjustable Front Shocks 16.893 27.27
25001-224A Jeep JK 2007-2018 3"-5" Lift Adjustable Rear Shocks 17.263 28.14

I taped the blue hoses and shafts and applied 3 coats of clear rust oleum to the shocks. They still looks great after 1.5 years and 24,000 miles.

10.4" front, and 10.9" rear total use-able travel on the King 2.5's.
