Family Run Sat March 30th

Woot woot count me in! The family is in! Question, when you say family friendly, does that mean this trail is like 3 week old infant friendly?

Sweet. I'm bringing my 2 and 5 year olds. I've never run Berdoo maybe JAGS can make a recommendation. Keep in mind, no restrooms or stores nearby. Be prepared to be self sufficient water, food and restroom breaks.

Family friendly....yes. 3 week old, that is your call. I will share this. For the most part we will be taking it easy and strolling through the high desert on a sandy trail that is well marked. Most "bumps" are mild or can be driven around if necessary (though I choose to go over rather than around). There are 1-2 small sections where you've got to maneuver over rocks both entry and exit for the round trip.

My kids bounced around a little, but they are now 8 (twins) and loved every minute. I wasn't trying to take it easy.

If your comfortable with your 3-week old bouncing around a bit in his harness, your good. We'll clear the way for you to take it super slow. The other option is to have your co-pilot simply walk around the rocks with him/her in hand. These are very brief rocky sections and my wife got out to take pics a few times. I think you'll be fine given the options above. There is little to no shade immediately on the trail, so water and snacks and food is ultra important depending on temp that day. I brought a big umbrella for our lunch stop.

Here's a link to some pics. I'll see if I can find more of rocks, etc. Kind of boring for the thread, but might give you peace of mind.

Here's a few more pics I don't think were in the other thread. If you saw those, you saw how most of the trail was.

Lunch stop. The shade you see is the shade there was. This is where I will probably recommend for our lunch stop. Area big enough for a decent amount of Jeeps.

Hard core rock crawlin. LOL. This was actually an "obstacle," but the main trail didn't have anything more wilder than this and only in one spot.

Me getting some mad "flex" on said obstacle. lol.

So does this mean the pattern is clear?

I'm showing clear skies as of right now. It is the high desert so it can change. When I went out we had temps from 72-90 depending on where were along the trail and elevation or not.

This is only about 35 minutes from my front door. I've been wanting to check this out since I got my Jeep but wasn't up for doing it alone. I'm glad I stumbled upon this. Put me down has going Frank. :thumb: I'll figure out a way to meet up with you all since Banning is the opposite way for me.

We'll more than likely have a second stop at the chevron at the fwy exit off Dillion. Maybe you could meet us there?
