Engine Oil Pan replacement on Rubicon 392

Hey guys, I cracked my aluminum oil pan on the rubicon yesterday. JB welded out but need to replace, hopefully have a new one tomorrow, but was curious if anyone knew anything else that ended to be replaced or moved over to the new pan during this process. It looks pretty accessible, so hopefully won’t be to bad to drop out, but anyone know if motor need to come out for these? I don’t have the early model with the larger aluminum pan. Skid plate coming next!

Awe man, bummer about your oil pan. I would think that other than the pan and maybe a new gasket, you should be good to go.
Thanks, yea looks pretty accessible, I guess the gasket is integrated into another part but I think it all comes as a unit. Funny part is, on 8/31/21 they switched to the steel pan, my build date was 9/1/21, so my vin showed the steel pan but I actually have an aluminum pan, so must be my motor was built before 9/1, either way the aluminum is $800 more and hangs down lower. Lol. Missed it by a day 😂

LOL - some luck! You gonna install a steel pan in it's place?

Maybe the aluminum pan is a good exception to the "don't need skid plates" rule.... The EVO engine/transmission skid plate is pretty stout and still easy enough to remove if you need to get at anything.....

Ha yes I’ll def be investing in one after this, just not a fully belly one 😂.. have ran EVO skids before and we’re good, need to figure out the best option for my 392 though.
