Hello all,

Name is Kyle finally about to start my build on my 15 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Only thing I've done so far is the Raxiom headlights and fog lights along with a bug deflector. I will take any recommendations that anyone can provide. Looking at the Teraflex 2.5in Budget Boost w/shocks, Forged Adjustable Trackbars(either Rough Country or Teraflex), Rough Country 2.2 Steering Stabilizer w/relocator, and the exhaust extension which is recommended. Pretty set on going with a 33in tire just debating on 17x9 or 18x9. Any other recommendations to this whole set up would be great!!!

Welcome to WAL Kyle! I'd do the BB and skip the rest. You'd be able to fit 35s without cutting your fenders. I'd let the price difference decide between the 2 wheel sizes you are looking at. Tires for 18" wheels are significantly more expensive.

Agreed with what Mr. Ty said. I'd go with 17" wheels. If you're doing a BB, you could fit a 35" tire and get over a lot more than a 33" tire bit you'll want to think about regearing if you're on a 3.21 ratio. Not necessary but would help.

Would 35s hurt the flex though? Taking the Jeep over to Windrock Park in the spring and I'd still like some function out of it?

No, with a BB and some cut fenders you'll still get full flex. You'll need wheel spacers if running stock tires though or you'll rub at full turn.

Get the high clearance fenders, tires and wheels(17 have more sidewall flex then 18's) and then do more research and pick a good suspension, have it lifted rite the first time

If you're not living your dead already!

Appreciate the help guys, still on the fence about the 35s though. If I did do 35s I'd want to reinforce the axles and re-gear as well and wasn't really looking at doing that right now. Still need to finish up my stage 4 kit on my Harley so that's where most of my funds are saving up for along with a wedding next year lol

Also would anyone recommend instead of regearing just getting a tuner to reprogram the Jeep. And just wanna double check on this but 35s would be the max for the factory axles

Well you need a programmer to calibrate the jeep for new tire size to make sure your shift points are correct, especially if you have an auto. Outside of that it will not help like it would a street car.

For gear ratio it depends on what year your jeep is.

Also the rear d44 is strong enough for 37's. the front d30/44 is only really strong enough for 35's but can take 37's.

Go ahead and get 35s , you will regret 33s . Had 33s on my 2 door .

I run my stock steering stabilizer with 35 ". Get the rough Country relocation bracket , It's cheap insurance and easy install.

Also welcome to WAYALIFE

Jeep with stuff on it. [emoji631]
