Glad you guys were able to pull this trip off especially with all of the covid bullshit. Great pics.

Here is today's update.

The plan was Poughkeepsie and Engineer Pads today.

We made it six miles from town, maybe three miles up the trail, when I lost my second idler pulley of the trip.
I had tried to buy a spare, but out of six parts stores I tried, none had it in stock.
Luckily for me, Byron saved the day with his spare, though he had to drive back to his camper to get it. After we fixed my rig up, we made it to the wall at Poughkeepsie and played a while. On the way there, Rick slid off the road and had to winch back up to safety.

Jeff tried an interesting line, but good sense kicked in and he backed down.

Then on towards Engineer Pass, but not before coming across a whole hillside full of sheep, at nearly 12,000 ft elevation.

At the intersection, we stopped next to the remains of an avalanche, complete with a tunnel through it where the creek runs.

Due to the delay, I had to bail early and missed going to the summit of Engineer with the rest of the group, but it was still a great day.

That sucks Jerry, at least it held out till the last day.

Amazing pictures and a Epic trip!

I'm just glad if it had to go, it did it in the high country where it was cool, not in Moab where it felt like a blast furnace.
