Had a funny squeak in the rear breaks decided to look into things this am. Looks like my passenger rear e brake was seized.
I had difficulty pulling the rotor and when I looked deeper I discovered that when I wiggled the e brake cable I frees up the slide that pulls the shoes in or release.
The red tube in this picture points to were it was seized.
To prevent this from taking place again should a guy put a very thin coat of calipar lube on this interface point or just clean it up as move on?
It's was kit this side that was seized and makes sense as after a good drive this wheel was very hot to touch the driver side was cool
Thanks
