D30 axle with 35's question

Also on 35's with a standard D30 and wheel as best I can without lockers and no issues so far. Also daily driven. Will be installing prorocks eventually though. Just run it until it breaks buddy.

Yes stock motor... Foot slipped off the clutch with for on the break.

Mine was a 400hp Subaru motor on a stock vw transaxle. I dumped about 10k in that stupid thing. 2nd run with it, I revved it up and dumped the clutch, it squawted on rear wheels for about 3 seconds, then I just had Rpms with no vehicle movement. Tore it down and found about 25% of the ring gear sheared off like that. I parted it out and sold it. The proper transaxle was about 8k and I didn't want to spend the money.

How has that limited slip been?
Significant improvement in off road traction when both front tires make at least some ground contact.
In the rear I have an eaton elocker. The two combined have been excellent. I drive it everyday and get off road usually 1 weekend every month.

I have heard about that combo and have given it consideration, just cause I have, plenty of years, and I will say it again, years, before I can get a pr44. Anyways just curious, and appreciate the input
