D-rings. Do you leave them on?

I don't see a point in leaving them on all the time. Lock them in the center console if you're worried you'll get stuck driving to work. Then you'll have them but it's that much harder to be stolen. I don't need to be loaded down for a 13 year excursion across an African desert to go to work though. :twocents:

Thanks for the replies, the holes on the d ring mounts for the rear frame rails are kind of big, do these d rings fit loosely in the holes and if they do do you guys use anything to keep them from bouncing around in them ?

The pin diameter is 7/8".

ok, gotcha.... i thought the dimension given was the space of the opening of the d ring.

Here are the 7/8" with the rubber Daystar washers on there to stop rattles. I had to cut the holes in the washers bigger since they only are for 3/4" but they work
