No. I'll just leave them and clean up the dirt in a few days. I'll still check them every day.

They rust from day 1 and I don't even worry about it. They still go off just fine.

Probably the only time I'll be happy with frozen traps. This dickhead just walked over 3 of them. Saves me drama in the morning.

Went out to check traps and looked around a little bit for game trails in the fresh snow. Found one right outside my camera zone. Definitely not rabbit which i saw on camera all night. Similar tracks found on my lower deck too which camera should have caught.



Then my son showed me this one of our driveways. Camera there too but didn't pick up anything. Looks like feral cat to me.




I adjusted the cameras and sensitivity to make sure there aren't commies hanging around.

I'm constantly humbled by the power of these critters' noses. This DP trap was put out for a raccoon that got a rabbit awhile back. We have had crazy snow, ice (Not the somali type), and rain. I check this trap daily and it's just filled with old slop. Nothing cares. Yet somehow pepe was curious enough to engage. Happy Wednesday morning for me.

Was able to quietly sneak into the deer stand about 5 yards away and he didn't suspect a thing. All laser, no scope. The laser on his nose did catch his attention and make him look around though lol.
