The Q1200 looks like a nice unit, one of the buggy guys in our group brought one on the last trip. I didn’t think to ask them about it because my grill was still in one piece then.I just picked up a weber q1200 yesterday for this purpose. We'll see how it holds up. I have friends that have the propane go-anywhere and they like it. I wanted a little more horsepower.
I think I have a go-anywhere somewhere around here, it never seemed to get hot enough and IIRC was what I was using before the Cuisinart. Maybe it’s a generic one though, I dig it out and test it at the house
Bonus: There was a duffel bag in the middle of 395 last night, I thought maybe someone from my group lost their gear. Turned out to be a big 2 burner Camp Chef stove. Doesn’t fit my needs for a compact stove but was free. It has a little road rash and the frame is bent but I can fix that
