Construction coming along

Well, I have been adding an addition to the house. It is coming along. Next is my bigger shop with at least 4 to 6 bays with a lift.

Here are some pictures of the sunset from the additions soon to be windows. Also, the sink from 1939 that was in my wife's grandfather's house that I restored. It is going in the new laundry room.

Thank you, it took me almost 30 years to get it. It was nice to settle down and not have to move every 2 to 3 years all over the world. I told my wife after moving 12 to 15 times, I am done. The Military was a great life, but I was ready to settle down. I hate packing and moving. I always felt for the people that would come and pack us out every move, of course my wife had to pre pack.

Wow, that’s an awesome house! Was it originally built as a house or a conversion from something else? I’ve always like those barn conversions because it creates such awesome “great rooms” like yours.

It was built as a house. It is a 4 bedroom/ 5 Bathroom.

I hear you on that. My wife was USAF for 20 years and the moves were the worst. We finally sold the last place we had back in MD after renting it out for three years. Congrats on the new place. Looks peaceful. Thank you for your service.
