Coffee Drinkers & Bean Grinders

Coffee Drinkers & Bean Grinders

Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC) is amazing! I can’t say enough good words about their coffee. My wife and I are on the monthly subscription and have been for about 2.5 years now. Best coffee on the planet hands down.

The wife & I want to find some good ground coffee thats cheaper than the $18 per bag we’ve been paying lately. We french press in the morning and after work so it tends to go fast... I found this Boyds for $9/12oz and it’s really good. Definitely reminds me of an old school coffee shop pour. I’m going to try a couple of their other roasts... but this is a winner for me.

Agreed. Did you try it here or order a bag? My dad trades with her sometimes. He raises bees so he trades honey for coffee. Brewing this stuff fresh outta the roaster is like liquid gold.

I’ll trade your dad bees for coffee. They seem to be attracted to the front end of my jeeps. Lol

We had it there. We love Hawaiian coffees. so when ever we’re over that way , we try as much as we can. Then usually ship a bunch home.

Lol. He has over 30 hives around the island. I have 6 hives at my house. He’s teaching my oldest son (11 y/o) how to work on the hives, harvest honey, and sell it to local restaurants. Can’t ship bees but I’ll send you some honey if you want.

That’s awesome he is teaching the young ones. I’ll take the honey but I’ll get it when I come over there. It will give me an excuse to come back to the islands. Lol

Can you really not ship bees? I swear I was in a UPS facility in El Centro one time and there were boxes of bees being shipped. Wonder if it’s only to Hawaii?

I’m honestly not even sure about the legalities of shipping them, but just having a basic understanding of how a hive functions, I don’t know how they would survive the trip from here to there. I know for a fact you can’t ship hives here because we don’t have Africanized bees in Hawaii. If you piss off one African bee, you’ll have 50,000 bees on your ass for miles and miles while you run... and you’ll never outrun them.

By the way, I’m convinced that El Centro in the summer is the gateway to hell.

Edit: drunk grammar is not the best
