It's kind of weird how there really aren't too many new contemporary songs that are made for Christmas without them being remakes of old tried and true songs but, of the ones that have come out, they've become hits that get into your head and ones that you just can't get out. Need I say, when is the last time you went shopping during the holiday season and NOT heard "Last Christmas" by Wham! being played? And then, to add insult to injury, you kept on hearing it play in your head over and over and over again!! Am I right?!
Of course, then there's Band Aid 1984 - "Do they Know it's Christmas".
Although this one came out in 1977 and really, it is kind of a mash up of a traditional song but once I hear it, it's stuck in my head! Bing Crosby & David Bowie - The Little Drummer Boy / Peace On Earth
That's just a sampling of tunes that I could come up with as they're they ones that are currently stuck in my head but, how about you? Any songs like this come to mind? :crazyeyes:
