Hooked
That’s a bad ass adventure! Definitely no to the crawling part of the cave, but yes to the rest! Thanks for sharing!
LOL - the normal cave tour is awesome and you don't have to do anything crazy. I would still recommend at least that.Great stuff as usual! Cave pics are awesome, but thats a nope for me...
Those aren't ovens
That's awesome that you've been to the cave before. And yes, there's a ton to see out there.so much great stuff!
did Lehman caves spelunking many years ago when I could fit through the tight areas, it's an amazing set of caverns.
So much to see all around the area
LOL - the living museum is one of the coolest I've seen anywhere especially being that it's all being used today but as it would have been over 100 years ago.Ahhhh spelunking, back when I had knees it was great fun. Southern Indiana, Northern Kentucky is loaded with caves.
Then you had to go a rail shop, I am a train geek since forever ago. LOVE the old coal fired locomotives and the early diesel/electric were neat as hell.
SOOOOOooooooo jelly........
With the kind of hiking you like to do, this is all easy stuff and I think you would really enjoy the cave. I should also note that this is just one of 40 in the park and at least 7 of them are ones you can get permits to explore as well.Oh man!
I have to add those caves on my do list!! Looks incredible
LOL - it was a hell of a good time for sure. Glad you enjoyed seeing the fun we had.Man... that's a lot of cool shit in one post
You bet and happy to hear you liked the picslooks like an amazing trip. Thanks for sharing really enjoy these
LOL - it literally is the biggest screen I've seen in anything and that it sits vertically is just crazy. I do like how you can add in apps and arrange them to show a couple things at the same time too.Great trip! And x2 on those Ram interfaces, I’m not usually a big screen in vehicles kinda guy but the new Uconnect system is a lot better. Good UI and surprisingly responsive.
That's awesome that Austin likes trains and that you guys went to see a museum over the weekend. I think he'd really like this one as it's HUGE and there are all kinds of things you can see everywhere. I should note that Carson City has a sister museum to Ely and it's nice as well. We also have a cool train that runs from Carson City to Virginia City that I bet he'd like too.Now that is one heck of a way to spend the day! Looked awesome and I'm already doing some research on going to the Train Museum! Austin absolutely loves trains and we literally stopped at old train depot/Museums in Oceano and San Luis this weekend.
I would have been great if you could have joined us for this. Maybe next summerLooks like an epic trip! Lots of great surprises and awesome memories. Wish we could have joined you!
LOL - really?! Glad you enjoyed the pics. When you're kids get older, you'll have to come see some of this stuff yourself. This may be one of the best trips you have ever posted. Awesome!
LOL - the cave thing really isn't for everyone. Glad you enjoyed the trip. That’s a bad ass adventure! Definitely no to the crawling part of the cave, but yes to the rest! Thanks for sharing!
Meh Luray caverns are easy peasy. We lived in Luray and have gone a couple times pretty neat but nothing like this. Hell they’re even all lit up. If y’all want to go though I’ll meet you there. You’re such a chicken
Let’s go to Luray Caverns !!!!
That's awesome. We've got an operational roundhouse in Indiana and I've been to it many times.
Back when I was a kid they still had a couple of coal fired steam locomotives that would use it.
