Bump Stops

I have a 2014 JKU with 3.5” AEV Dual Sport lift. 37” tires. I have always had stock bump stops. My question: the current bump stops look ok but will replacing them with “better” bump stops do anything for me? Ride quality is fine. I’m not bottoming out BUT I have read many posts that talk about replacing the bump stops will make a good ride even better…. I just want to understand if this is accurate? Hydraulic bump stops perhaps? Anyway, please let me know if you have knowledge on this topic. Thank you

A hydraulic bump stop will not change the ride quality. Anyone who said that is clinically retarded.

It will help if you are bottoming out and not make it as hard of a hit. If you are happy with what you have now then keep it.
This... They're noisy too

If you're not bottoming hard the way you drive just leave them alone

hahahaha I truly appreciate your honesty 🤣

If you are bombing through the desert or wheeling big ledges where you are fully compressing your suspension, yes they definitely help and act like another "shock". If not, a stock bump stop works just fine. And yes they definitely look cool

Your Airbumps are noisy?? o_OYou might want to get that checked out. Or maybe I just can't hear mine over the tire noise. Or you're talking about your CO's:cool:
I can hear them make noise only when wheeling, they make a clacking sound when they make contact with the bump extensions even before I had CO's. The CO's have quieted down significantly since they got broken in too, they make a little noise when really flexing. Sounds like the springs spinning on the crossover ring as they expand or compress.
