Didn’t see a thread on this so figured I’d start it. If there is one, and I’m just blind, let me know.

What books are you reading, or that you have read or listened to, that you think is great?

I’m a Jack Carr fan and totally loved the entire James Reece series. Have been waiting for a new book and come to find out he started a new series about Jame’s dad, Tom. Looking forward to it.

Besides Clancy's books, this series of fantasy books is unbelievably over the top. There are 14 books in all and it took me over a year to go through.
I'm not a fan of fantasy books but this series is so incredibly complex and detail rich, it's well worth the time invested. The TV series on Amazon is just ok, but there's no way to do the books justice unless this was a 20 year project. It does drag in the middle for a book or two, but again, it's worth it to muddle through a couple of them.

Oh man. Where to begin.

Love me some murder mystery/thrillers. But I read everything. Not much into the smut or romance novels but about every other genre is fair game. Lol

My stack so far for this year….

This pisses my wife off so much. Lol
I have a read pile next to the to read pile and a solo cholo floating around that is currently being read at all times. “Why can you put them in your book shelf like a normal person?” lol

This is the book I am reading at the moment. It is a book about Building Science and about how to build air-tight, energy efficient homes, which will last a long time (e.g. won't get moldy or rot), but which are also very comfortable and healthy to live in. Really all aspects of building design (other than structural or stylistic) are covered in an easy to read way. About 2/3rds done already.

This is a great thread. I read 1984 and Brave New World in High School and now we’re living in those dystopian hellscapes.
But some really great books I’ve read recently is the Pillars of the Earth series from Ken Follet. It’s historical with fiction a great author.
