Bolts unwinding on intake manifold

Hey all, when putting back my upper intake manifold after replacing oil cooler on 2017 jk. The bolts unwound as I tried to tighten them to 9nm. Is this normal??? I read something about this can happen when new gaskets are installed and you keep tightening them every few days. Seems weird tho. Thanks for any help.

You are squishing the new gaskets down. Just keep going around in a star pattern till they all hit the right spec

9nm isn't much but as @cozdude stated, keep following the pattern until they all torque to the 9nm, make sure not to overtighten, the plastic will crack and you also risk stripping the bolt
