So this is my first jeep, and I'm officially addicted! I have a 2012 Wrangler sport. I plan to take my time on the build and do it right the 1st time. Here are my mods so far:
Smittybilt src front bumper
Smittybilt xrc 9.5 gen-2 winch(cable)
Rigid Industries dually flood lights
Bf Goodrich mud terrain km2 tires (285/70R17)

Hopefully I'll be getting a lift for Christmas, cannot wait for that! Keep calm and Jeep on!IMG_1717.jpg

There's always something you'll want to add next. Ha, be prepared for an empty wallet. With every new black jeep build makes me wish I had bought a black one. Nice start!

black is better 2 door update

So I finally have a list of parts I want for my rig, now it's just going to take 1-3.5 years for me to have a job and save up the money. I'm still excited! lol

Rock Krawler 3.5 inch X factor mid arm lift w/Bilstein 5100 shocks
Nitto Mud Grappler tires 37/12.50R17
XD addict wheels
Genright rear bumper w/swing away tire carrier
4.88 gears
Artec axle armor kit for Dana 30
Je reel front and rear 1310 driveshafts
Poison Spyder crusher corners w/led taillights
Truck-lite led headlights
That's it for now. Of course a true Jeep build is never finished haha

Looks good, but you may want to add a PR44 to that list at the end. Depending on the wheeling you do, that D30 may not hold up too well, even reinforced. Just my .02.

So this Christmas i'm going to get an aev 2 inch spacer lift along with front adj. trackbar and a few other goodies. Cannot wwait fo finally own a Lifted JK!! haha

So I finally have an official list of the parts I want. Should be able to start ordering next summer, so hopefully my jeep will e all grown up in a few years!!ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1417915606.550481.jpg

So I've got a build dilemma, and I'm not sure what to do. I'll be getting a job by Christmas time, and am still wanting a lift for Xmas. That being said, I'll be able to save money and buy a better lift next summer along with 35s, gears, and rear bumper/tire carrier. Should I save and go with the better lift? I will probably do this but just wanted a few thoughts or ideas, and will continue to build my jeep as long as it's mine!! Haha sorry for the random long ass post lol

Honestly man, save your money until you can afford what you really want. I'm having to remind myself of that EVERY day. We have similar builds and I'm working my way to an Evo Enforcer 3" w/ 37s and a PR44, but I'm going to do it in steps. Since I have the Sport, PR44 will be the first BIG option I go with. I know that if I end up doing the lift before the PR44, I'll end up breaking the D30 and not be able to afford to get the new axle. The biggest thing I have to keep reminding myself is that my current setup is already more advanced than I am as a driver, and until I am more capable than the Jeep, there's really no reason to go bigger. Just my :twocents:

And BTW, that might be the hardest thing I've ever had to admit!

Yeah that's what I was thinking, want to improve my driver skill before I start adding lift along with bigger tires haha. Thanks for the re-assurance, one of my friends has 33s on a rubi and can do almost anything lol

So this isn't much of course but it's a plan at least. I'll be getting a teraflex 2.5 inch coil lift along with Bilstein shocks by February, so hopefully I'll be on 35s by summer. Yay!! Haha

Have you looked at coil spacers and pairing them with bilsteins?

Yeah I have. It would be cheaper but I kind of want to go straight to a coil spring lift for more flex, etc. I know the spacers ride better in the road but idk...
