Big Ben's Big Mojave

Alright everyone, here is the 2021 Mojave JT in Sting-Gray I picked up over the weekend, traded in the JL Rubicon, plans for this are mainly to be a camping/exploring truck that kiddos and dogs can all come along. This truck didn't come with too many options which I was totally fine with me but below are a few pictures. I'm a big fan of the suspension on this thing, I flew up a fire access road where I took these pictures which is typically very rough and jarring, by no means was it like I was gliding, but, damn it was such a difference from what I was used to and I was going much faster. I Also really like the orange accents with this color.

short term build plans- Most is on order already

WAL Banner and Cowl decal
WAL CB Bar with Switch pros mount
WAL ACM

EvoMFG Alumalite Front bumper with Hoop
Warn Evo 10s Winch
Switch Pros
ARB Single with remote air connection
TaZer Mini
PCI Icom Radio
Uniden CB

Mopar LED Headlights
Color Match Fenders
Color Match HardTop
Color Match ARE Camper Shell with Rack - Will be adding a cargo basket too

I still have my 37s from my JL so will likely run those on here as well, but being I will be keeping the amazing factory suspension until its toast, Ill likely be looking into spacer kits, just not seeing many on the market for the Mojave yet, at least from reputable companies. AEV has one but would like to see if any other options are coming soon.

Looking at the KC Flex Era 4 as well, for the front bumper and A-pillar, but haven't made my mind up yet

also still deciding on a rear bumper, I like the aluminum to keep the build light as I will still be on factory suspension. really like the new EVO MFG one but want to find a way to have incorporated back up lights, may need to get a better look at it sometime.

I think that is everything for now

Do you plan on putting both radios on the cb bar? I’m undecided if I even want to install a cb radio at this point.

Congrats! I actually didn't realize you were planning to pick one up.
I wasn't really, been tossing the idea around for a bit, dealership has been hammering us to trade in due to their impending shortage, so went down and talked, ended up with a great deal and a Jeep that better fits the family needs for a while. Really liking it so far.

What made you to switch from a JL?
Nothing that had to do with JL other than overall space. This will better serve the family for a while, sure I'll miss a Wrangler but I'm loving this JT

Definitely going to put the race radio up there, not sure about CB yet, the radio I have is really small so may stash it somewhere if I can. They will both fit up there but it's maybe alot. I'll have to mock it up when the time comes. Now I need to figure out where to mount antennas

I’ve been lagging on installing the radios i have. Not sure how I want them configured and where to put the antennas either.

Easy solution is bed rail or on a rack but that won't work for me with the camper shell, maybe I can find a mount that can somehow incorporate between the rails and the shell.
