Best- no
good option - yes
SB Oil pan and trans plate used with stock rubi transfer case skid.

Not the best system but the Smittybuilt plate is stout and only 200.00. I took a chance on it for a weekend trip, there were no reviews. I ended up keeping it on my jeep after It withstood a beating. Only issue is it's super heavy. Had a fitment issue but it was easy to get around.
Pros
Cheapest oil/trans plate available
Texture Powder coated
Heavy duty plate and brackets
Cons
Instructions
Very heavy
Does not cover exhaust loop but I never hit it.
You have to flex it towards passenger side during install.
Oil change plate countersunk bolt did not line up( a few drill sizes fixed it)
Overall it's staying I'm not beating up expensive skids until this one shows some type of failure. However If I had the cash I would be running Aluminum skids to save weight.
